Departmental Telephone Bills
Faculty and staff do not get charged individually for their telephone
usage by Information Technology Services. However, the academic
or administrative department to which your telephone is assigned
will get a monthly accounting of all calls made. Funds are automatically
transferred from the department to cover the cost of all calls made
on all departmental telephones.
Each department has a telephone coordinator to whom a paper copy
of the monthly accounting is sent. Some departments expect reimbursement
for personal calls made on departmental phones. The specific policy
is determined and implemented by each department.
