EOO Sexual Harassment Training Session

The College's Assistant Vice President for Risk Management & Legal Affairs and Director of Equal Opportunity reports to the Secretary of the College and has responsibility for evaluating and monitoring institutional risks, managing the general legal affairs of the college, overseeing the equal employment and educational opportunity compliance of the College and assisting with application and interpretation of the laws that impose obligations on the College.

As Director of Equal Opportunity, the AVP is available to consult with faculty, students, supervisors, and staff members about matters they believe might involve issues of discrimination or harassment. The AVP also oversees investigations regarding complaints of prohibited discrimination. The AVP may enlist the support of the Employee Relations Manager, Public Safety or another trained investigator during the investigation process.
