Althea Gaffney '11 won an American Chemical Society/Division of Organic Chemistry Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) for Summer 2010. She worked with Dr. Paley on the project: "Planar Chiral 2-Sulfinyl Diene Iron(0) Tricarbonyl Complexes as a Platform for Diastereoselective Synthesis of Spiroketals."
