Innovation Incubators

The Innovation Incubator Program is a series of workshops and one-on-one meetings for groups of students interested in what it takes to form a business. The incubator utilizes the Business Model Canvas from Strategyzer as one of its main resources because it helps businesses to understand customers, design better value proposals, and find the right business model for a particular business. Below is a schedule of the available programming for the academic year.



  • Week of October 31st -- Individual 30 minute Meetings with Prof. Denise Crossan
    • Sign up here
    • Come with your BMC filled out as much as possible with a distinct focus on your value proposition and customers.
    • IF you don't have an idea yet... meet with Denise anyway! Remember this is a process! 
  • Thursday, November 10th, 6-8pm -- Incubator Dinner with Prof. Denise Crossan and friends

  • Week of November 14th -- Individual Meetings with Prof. Denise Crossan
    • Sign up TBD
  • Week of November 28th -- SwatTank proposals due 
    • Email the following to
      • Completed BMC 
      • Name of project
      • List of group participants with names, class year, and email
