Elizabeth McCormack

McCormack, an emerita Board member since 1992, has been an adviser to the Rockefeller family since 1988. When she joined the Board in 1980, she worked for the Rockefeller Family Philanthropic Office. Before that, from 1966 to 1974, she was president of Manhattanville College - her alma mater - in Purchase, N.Y.

Among her many philanthropic endeavors, McCormack has chaired the Partnership for Palliative Care in New York since 2008; served as director of Atlantic Philanthropies since 1986; been a trustee to the Julliard School of Music since 1997; and has been a member of the Council on Foreign Relations since 1975. She received a Ph.D. from Fordham University and holds five honorary degrees.
