MOVIE SCREENING OF "Glory"
DATE: Friday, February 3rd
TIME: 8pm
LOCATION: LPAC Cinema

DECRIPTION:Come kick off the Black History Month Movie Series with a screening of "Glory" a classic movie based on the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, the first formal unit of the US Army made up entirely of African American men, starring Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman.
                                                                                                                                                                         

SOUL SHACK

Tri-College Black Love Semi Formal

DESCRIPTION: Join us with Bryn Mawr and Haverford College for the annual Black Love Formal banquet:  A night of mingling, dinner, and dancing. DESCRIPTION: A discussion moderated by University Of Pennsylvania's History Professor Tamara Walker, about the fair trade policies implemented in Haiti and other developing nations. Panelists include Numa St. Louis, Vice President of Haitian Professionals of Philadelphia and Darlene DeLaPaz of 10,000 Villages Center City.
