Frank 5 Kicks Off This Fall

Empty field with big sky

The Aydelotte Foundation at Swarthmore College is pleased to announce the inaugural cohort of our Frank 5 Fellows. The Fellows are all liberal arts graduates under age 30 who will be telling their stories across a variety of media in the coming academic year. Led by the Aydelotte’s Senior Associate Director, Pam Shropshire, the newly-launched Frank 5 Fellows program aims to help demystify liberal arts education and spark conversation around the careers, life choices and beliefs of actual liberal arts graduates by listening to their stories. Though lately liberal art education has been getting a lot of attention in public discussions of higher education, we rarely hear much about what it actually is. In response, the Frank 5 program aims to generate real evidence of what liberal arts education is, who pursues it, and what comes of it.

Join the 2017-18 Fellows for a special Career panel on Thursday, September 28 at 4:30pm in the Scheuer Room.

Note: Nominations for 2018-19 Fellows open in the fall. Applications will be available beginning in January.
