Eric Wagner - Co-Director
Swarthmore College Head Men's Coach
In eight years at Swarthmore College, Wagner has built a
program that combines the commitment to excellence on the soccer field
with a strong element of community service. His teams are known for hard
work and exciting play, as well as for working in the greater Swarthmore
community to create an atmosphere of fun, social responsibility, and
cooperation through the world's most popular game. Wagner's Garnet teams
won the school's first-ever E.C.A.C. Championship (2007), its first-ever Centennial Confence championship (2008) and, this past
fall, the team advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament for the second year in a row.
Wagner previously coached at St. Mary's College in Maryland, where he won more games than any coach in the program's history. In over 20 years of college coaching, Wagner has appeared at camps and clinics all over the country. He has directed camps at Duke University in North Carolina, Southwestern University in Texas, and at St. Mary's College. Wagner earned the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and has been a staff coach for the Olympic Development Programs (ODP) in Indiana, Maryland, and Texas. He is currently on the Eastern Pennsylvania ODP staff and the Region I ODP staff.
Wagner earned his B.A. at Connecticut College, and his M.Ed. at Temple University. He has also coached at Duke University, the University of Notre Dame, Connecticut College, Southwestern University, and Wheaton College (MA).

Mike Barr - Co-Director
Director of Coaching, Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association
Mike Barr is one of
the most successful coaches in the region. Recently named the full-time Director of Coaching for EPYSA, Barr has also coached at the college, high school, and club level in the mid-Atlantic region. In twenty years as coach at
Strath Haven High School, Coach Barr's teams won thirteen Central League
titles, five District One titles, and five PIAA state championship
titles. Several of Coach Barr's players have gone on to play college
soccer - many at some of the most prestigious colleges and universities
in the country. In only three years at Immaculata, the team improved from 6-10-1 in 2007 to 10-7-4 in 2009 and earned a trip to the CSAC championship match.
As the Director of Coaching for the EPYSA, Barr is responsible for coordinating the coaching curriculum for Olympic Development, coaching courses, and the general education of coaches and soccer personnel throughout the Association. Also a National Staff Coach for the United States Soccer Federation, he is a National Youth License Instructor, and holds the USSF "A" coaching license, the NSCAA International Premier License, the national youth license, and Scottish Football Association's "B" license.

Ciarán Dalton
Swarthmore College Assistant Coach
Now in his eighth season with the Garnet, Dalton began his soccer career here in Swarthmore. He played at Strath Haven High School, then moved on to have an outstanding career at Millersville University. As a striker at Millersville, he was named to the All-PSAC 1st team and the Mid-Atlantic All-Region team. He currently ranks 2nd all-time in Millersville history in goals with 43, assists (19), and points (105). Dalton also played for the semi-professional Cobh Ramblers in Ireland.
He was assistant coach at Strath Haven for three years before joining Swarthmore. Dalton has a B.A. in Special Education from Millersville and an M.Ed. from Temple University. He is now in the Doctoral program in psychology at Immaculata University.

Brent Jacquette - Head men's soccer coach at Widener University. Jacquette is an All-America player from Penn State who also played for Mike Barr at Strath Haven HS. He has played professionally in Germany and for the Minnesota Thunder in the USL's top division.
Jack Edwards - professional youth scout for Oldham Athletic FC in England. Formerly a youth scout with Manchester City FC, Rochdale FC, and for the Lancashire youth development program, Edwards is an accomplished coach at the highest level.
Patrick Christmas - former captain and Regional All-America for Swarthmore. Graduated in 2008 and is now teaching and coaching soccer at HS in Philadelphia.
Alex Elkins - former captain and Regional All-America for Swarthmore. Elkins graduated in 2006 and is currently working on his doctorate in history at Temple University. Elkins also coached and taught at Germantown Friends School.
Brendan Grady - Assistant coach at Widener University. Also a former captain and Regional All-America for Swarthmore. Grady played for the Santa Clara Ruckus club team in California, winning one national championship and earning two trips to the national final four.
Kristen McKenna- former captain, Ernie Prudente Award winner, and four-year varsity letterwinner at Swarthmore. Played goalkeeper for Garnet and for Ridley HS.
