Welcome to the City 2013 is on Saturday, September 28th!

Now in its seventh year, Welcome to the City offers a great chance to make new Swarthmore connections in your city or region!

Every year, hundreds of young alumni from Swarthmore College move to new cities in pursuit of further degrees, research, new jobs, or just to resettle. On Saturday, Sept. 28th, in 33 different cities across the US and around the globe, alumni Connection groups will be having informal get-togethers where Swarthmoreans can welcome new residents, pass on valuable information about their new locale, and socialize and network with other members of the Swarthmore community.

Note: The registration page indicates no fee for this event, but please bear in mind that many of the individual events are pay-as-you-go happy hours or meetings st restaurants. Potluck and picnic get togethers are also indicated in the descriptions below and on the registration page.
