Mozart's "Requiem" Reading

Singers, musicians, and audience wanted for this year’s Mozart’s Requiem reading
—directed by John Alston, director of the Chester Children's Chorus.

Saturday, June 6, Lang Music Building
We will supply up to 100 copies of the music or you are welcome to bring your own.

Singers: sopranos, altos, tenors, basses, and experienced soloists
Orchestra players: violin, viola, cello, bass, two clarinets, two bassoons, timpani, two trumpets

Singers report to practice at 2:45 p.m.
Orchestra to warm up at 4:15 p.m.
Concert to begin at 4:30 p.m.

If you plan to participate, please email awmusic@swarthmore.edu or call 610-328-8655 and indicate your instrument or voice part. Novices and experts are welcome.

Experienced vocalists interested in being a soloist should send an email describing their background to John Alston (john.b.alston@gmail.com) by May 15. Solos will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Requiem solos: “Tuba Mirum,” “Benedictus,” “Domine Jesu,” “Recordare” (optional).
