Current Students 2014-15 Financial Aid Information
|Application Available online||Deadline||Notification|
Eligibility for need-based financial aid, including federal grants and loans, at Swarthmore College must be assessed annually. If you wish to be considered for Swarthmore College scholarships, along with federal or state grants, loans, or campus work opportunities for the 2014-15 academic year, you and your parents (and stepparents, if any) must complete our financial aid application. (However, if you wish to apply for federal aid only, complete just the federal FAFSA form.).
Completing your financial aid application by April 30th will insure that you will have an aid decision in time to arrange payment of your fall bill which is due early in August. We will consider your application if it is late, but please remember that you may be jeopardizing state scholarship money if you do not complete your FAFSA by March because many states have early deadlines. Also, we cannot protect you from late fees if your bill is not paid to the Student Accounts Office on time.
We will advise returning students about aid opportunities for the next academic year late in June since between February and mid-May, we will be considering the applications of those in the prospective class.
