2016-17 Fall Early Decision Financial Aid Application Instructions

For Fall Early Decision applicants:

  • whose parents are together

  • a parent is involved in a business or partnership

Submit all documents by November 15.

To be considered for Swarthmore College scholarships, along with federal or state grants, loans, or campus work opportunities, you and your parents must complete our financial aid application.

Tentative financial aid decisions will be made available with the admission decision if we receive a complete financial aid application by the date stated above.  Applications are still accepted after that date. Our decision will consider your family’s best estimates of their 2015 financial information. Once we review parents’ actual 2015 income and tax documents in February, we will correct and finalize our tentative decision.

(If you wish to apply for federal aid only, complete just the FAFSA form after January 1, 2016.)
