About Gil and Mary Stott

Gil Stott was a beloved member of the Swarthmore College faculty for 35 years. He and his wife, Mary, played in the college orchestra for decades and hosted student chamber music evenings in their home. Their contribution to the musical life of the college has been memorialized by the creation of the Gil and Mary Stott Chamber Music Master Class Series. These Master Classes feature prominent artists who come to campus and present coaching sessions in support of the chamber music program.
