James H. Scheuer Summer Internship in Environmental Studies
"I was awarded James Scheuer Environmental Studies funding to conduct my senior thesis research on fiscally sustainable conservation initiatives in an indigenous community in Costa Rica. Additionally, I was able to have the thesis translated into Spanish, so that it could be read and understood by the people about whom it was written. This research was one of my most challenging and rewarding life experiences."
