The Swarthmore College Department of PublicSafety is responsible for the overall security ofSwarthmore's campus and is the first contact andfirst responder for all campus emergencies. Itscharge is to protect persons and property, preservethe peace, deter crime, apprehend criminaloffenders, recover lost and stolen property,perform services as required, enforce appropriateCollege regulations, and maintain a sense ofcommunity security and confidence in thedepartment.
