TWO-YEAR VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: Organic and Inorganic
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Swarthmore College invites applications for a full-time faculty member at the level of Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2013-2014 academic year, with renewal for 2014-2015 pending administrative approval.
The successful candidate will teach both organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry. The first year teaching responsibilities would include first semester organic chemistry lecture, organic chemistry lab sections and participation in our general chemistry curriculum. The second year teaching responsibilities would involve the junior level inorganic chemistry lecture and lab course and organic chemistry lab sections.
Applicants should have a Ph.D., teaching experience, and a strong commitment to undergraduate education.
