Resume

This portfolio is design to be a summary of my work as a student and substitute teacher at Friends Select School in Philadelphia during the winter and spring of 2002.

It also contains work and statements related to my educational understandings and philosophies.

Explaining a concept to a tenth-grade biology student at Friends Select.

From January through the end of March, I student taught general biology (tenth and eleventh grades) and marine biology (eleventh and twelth grades) at Friends Select. From the end of March through the beginning of May, I worked as a long-term substitute in the Friends Select middle school, teaching seventh grade life sciences and sixth grade physical science. While teaching in the middle school, I was also a student advisor and led an environmental service group.
