Software: Mathematica plus demos from the text's CD and other sources. A calculator will help and can be used on exams.

Course requirements and grading:
  Grades will depend on a final exam (35%), two other main exams (25% each), and homework and smaller quizzes (15% total). Collaboration on homework is encouraged.
