(2) Either the cyclopamine had no
effect on whisker formation or , more likely, the embryos
were actually later in development than 13.5 dpc. After
staging the mice, we realized that the mice were probably 15
dpc on the day they were removed from the mother. The hands
had distinct fingers which corresponded with at least 14 dpc
mice. In addition, the progression of development of the eye
corresponded to at least 15 dpc mice. |
