The Science Commons is a space that has been designed to foster interaction amongst faculty and students. It has been located at the crossroads of the Science Center, in front of Cornell Library and between Martin Hall and the existing and new DuPont Buildings. It is a transparent space that stands at the northwest corner of the North Quad with a welcoming glow to draw people to the Sciences. The space will be designed with various conversational seating spaces, computer ports, coffee and vending space, exhibition space for science presentations, and pre- lecture gathering space.
