“Swarthmore College biology professor M. Jade Zee is bringing her students to Pepperberg’s talk. Zee, who studies vocal communication in fish, has used Pepperberg’s research in a first year seminar course on animal communication, focusing on the "model-rival" method Pepperberg developed to teach Alex, and the relationship between animal communication and animal cognition.”
