Comments: This was a nice, relatively easy, and very flat ride (no hills to speak of beyond Philly). There were a few detours and I made one wrong turn (second bullet, below) so this ended up being 100 miles instead of the listed 87.

I would avoid Clement's Bridge road (Rte 41) in NJ. Wide, busy, not too pleasant (not scary - just unpleasant).
At the intersection of Head of River Road and Weatherby Rd / Count Hwy 548 the directions say to turn right. This is correct, but it is more like going straight (there are two right turns, you want the shallow one).
I never found Upper Champion Road (or Alantic City Electric Row) off of Head of River Road/ Broad Street / Hoffman Mill's road (New Jersey, Belle Plain State Forest). These showed up on Google maps but not my paper maps - so I'm not sure if they are paved roads. I just went a bit further and took Woodbine Ave / County Highway 550 to Washington Ave / County Highway 557 into Woodbine.
