I am currently working in the lab of Professor
Tom Stephenson. We study the process of electronic energy transfer in
diatomic halogen molecules (I2 and Br2) when they
collide with other gasses (He, Ar, and CF4). Other interests
include laser spectroscopy, high vacuum/molecular beam techniques, photodissociation
and reaction dynamics, and electronic and vibrational spectroscopy of small
molecules.
During 2004/05, I will teach in the General Chemistry (Chemistry 10 and 10H) program.
