Here is a list of books which are not indexed, just so there won't be any question about whether this book was considered or not. Some items seem like they should be indexed, e.g. In the Life, a Black gay anthology, or Living the spirit, a gay American Indian anthology, but when you look at them, you discover that they really aren't anthologies of fiction, but rather contain essays and memoirs instead. Actually, most of the things here are run-of-the-mill pornography, mass market paperbacks, which don't warrent the indexing effort. Sometimes one of these is so well done however, e.g. Western trails, with an interesting selection of stories, that even though it is part of the same publisher's series as the ones here not indexed, I felt it should get indexed.
If one of these is all on one topic which is included in the genre index, it will be listed there, with a note indicating that it hasn't been indexed, e.g. The Sportsmen, under Athletes, or In the Life, under Afro-American, or Men at work, under Labor.
