This list of Quaker subject headings for the use of Quaker bibilographers and cataloguers working with Quaker books, was current as of 1999. A few changes have been made, most noteably the replacement of the term, "Afro-American," with that of "African-American," but users are warned to check usage for unfamiliar terms. Certain terms have been tagged "190" in the Subject Heading column; these have not been formally established, but may be used when appropriately tagged.
