Biographical / Historical
Peekskill Preparative Meeting was established under Amawalk Monthly Meeting in 1816. In 1828 it divided into Hicksite and Orthodox branches. Men and women in the Hicksite branch began to meet jointly in 1871; in 1877-78 the meeting was laid down.
