Biographical / Historical

Nine Partners Preparative Meeting was reportedly established 4mo 1744 under Oblong Monthly Meeting. In 1828 the preparative meeting split into Orthodox and Hicksite branches. The Hicksite branch continued until it was laid down in 1882. The Orthodox branch was laid down in 1888.
