NASA ADS Database

"THE essential resource for searching the astronomical literature." This bibliographic database offers some access to FULL TEXT of most major Astronomy journals, usually before 1996 (back to the 1870's for some titles - !).

Access to much information on NASA and fields such as astronomy and aerospace technology.
 
Nine planets: a Multimedia Tour of the Solar System
Briefly describes each of the planets and major moons in our solar system. Also includes pictures, sound and some movies.
 
PINET Plus Research Library
Produced by AIP. A good alternative to INSPEC. Access to SPIN Abstracts, going back to 1975, plus Advanced SPIN Abstracts, for articles not yet published. SPIN has bibliographic citations, abstracts, plus full-text links to AIP journals. SPIN journal coverage.

SciCentral: Best Astronomy Online Resources
A well-organized site offering access to all types of Astronomy resources. Also a search engine. 

SIMBAD DATABASE
SIMBAD stands for Set of Identifications, Measurements,and Bibliography for Astronomical Data. SIMBAD contains information for about 1 million objects, for which 3.3 million identifiers, more than 1.5 million observational measurements and 1.4 million bibliographical references are available and is more of a database of astronomical objects than a bibliographical database.

Preprint server dating back to 1995, offering access to many AIP publications, including the ASP C onference Series.

A collection of many of the best images from NASA's planetary exploration program. In-depth information on the planets, plus information on U.S. spacecrafts.
