Saturday October 22nd, 2011: a scene from "A Scandal in Bohemia" will be performed at the College Music Society conference in Richmond, Virginia.


Monday November 7th, 2011, 12:30 PM in Lang Concert Hall, Swarthmore College: Auricolae will perform "The Princess and the Man With a Pure Heart" , a children's piece for narrator, violin, and cello. Free and open to the public.


Sunday December 4th, 2011, 3 PM, Lang Concert Hall, Swarthmore College: fall concert of Gamelan Semara Santi.


Saturday February 18th, 2012, 8 PM Church of the Holy Trinity, Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia. Performance by members of Gamelan Semara Santi with the Indonesian Cultural Club as part of the "Spiritual Voyages Festival" sponsored by Astral Artists.


Saturday February 25th, 2012, 8 PM (Community Music School, Trappe, PA) and Sunday February 26th, 2012, 7:30 PM (Independence Seaport Museum): "Philadelphia Voices: O My Earth," a joint concert of Network for New Music and the Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia under the auspices of the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society. Program includes works by Jan Krzwicki, Cynthia Folio, and a new work by Thomas Whitman for chamber chorus and small instrumental ensemble based on poetry by Walt Whitman.


Saturday March 10th, 2012, 8 PM (Ethical Society, Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia): performance of Rossetti Songs at by members of Center City Opera Theater.


Sunday April 15th, 2012: Spring Concert of Gamelan Semara Santi at Swarthmore College.


Saturday April 21st (8 PM, Ethical Society, Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia) and Sunday April 22nd (7:30 PM, Lang Concert Hall, Swarthmore College): premiere of Inside/Outside for gamelan and western instruments, given collaboratively by members of Gamelan Semara Santi and Orchestra 2001.


Wednesday June 13th (time and venue TBA): public showing of Eugene Martin's film Beirut ; soundtrack score composed and conducted by Thomas Whitman,with commentary by the composer.
