These are two songs I wrote in 1986; the vocal arrangements & performance are mine, the instrumental arrangements and various keyboards are by my good and very old friend Eric Jacobson ("Old" meaning that we got to know each other in third grade). At this point I can't remember the name of the drummer, or the name of the studio where we recorded the songs in Longmont, CO, in summer of 1986. Eric, if you ever do a web search for yourself and happen across this page, please drop me an e-mail!
We called the group "Dark City," and if we had ever gone on to put these on an album it would have been entitled "Faces in the Metro." The other musicians there opined that it sounded like (in the first case) "ecclesiastical reggae" and (in the second) "Celtic raga."
Because I am not a technical wizard, these songs are saved in "Quicktime" movie format rather than as MP3's; Far be it from me to doubt the advice of our LRC (Language Resource Center) experts! And it sure did cut down the bandwidth. I have the mega-memory versions too of course, just in case anyone wants to Discover this group 15 years after the fact; the original tape they copied for me already shows signs of degeneration.
