Many
Swarthmore students study voice or an instrument with a private teacher,
and the Department provides generous financial support as well as academic,
if desired, to many students. More general information about this program

Music 48: Deadlines and other Important Dates for Fall 2009
- Friday, September 4th: Music 48 Preliminary Assessments for all students new to the program. Please sign up for an appointment between 12:30 and 4:00 pm on the sign-up sheet posted on the department bulletin board located outside Lang Music #401.
- Friday, September 11th at 12:00 pm: Deadline to submit
the Music 48 Application to the Department Coordinator. Late applications will not be accepted.
- Wednesday, November 11th: Music 48 Papers due by 12:00 noon - Hard Copies Only! (to be
turned in to Bernadette Dunning) Please Note: Email submissions will not be accepted.
- End of Semsester Performances:
- December 9th - Time TBA.
- December 10th - Time TBA
