Leader of the Tamagawa Taiko and Dance Group. This group won third place in the Tokyo International Taiko contest in 2006, and has toured worldwide, including performances at the Kennedy Center, the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC., the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival of Greater Philadelphia, and the NBA Half-time show at the Wachovia Center.
As a master of Classical Japanese Dance (nihon buyô), has given performances and led workshops at numerous institutions worldwide including Michigan University, Washington University in St. Louis, Ursinus College, Hamilton College, Pennsylvania University, the Painted Bride Arts Center in Philadelphia, The Edinburgh Festival in Scotland, the London Festival in England, Thummasart University in Thailand, and the Festival of World Dance in Hong Kong.
