Pronunciation Practice
Fall Semester, 2002-3
If you' d like to work on
your pronunciation, reviewing the names and sounds of the Cyrillic
Alphabet (and practicing alphabetical order!) is a good place
to start.
I plan to create more advanced exercises
when it becomes possible to use stress marks on web pages. Until
then, you can use the software that is physically located in Swarthmore's
Language Resource Center (3rd floor, Kohlberg). Visit the LRC
in person to try out some of the foreign language software listed
on the LRC web page at http://
lrc.swarthmore.edu/.
You can also read more about the Cyrillic
alphabet and its predecessors on a wonderful Russian-language
web site dedicated to The Russian Alphabet at http://character.webzone.ru/.
