This fall Russian 003B: Intensive Russian
(Second-Year Russian) will be co-taught by Sibelan Forrester
and Kimberly Fedchak (Kira). This 1.5 credit course is appropriate
for students who have completed First-Year Russian at Swarthmore
College or for those with advanced skills. Intensive Russian
at Swarthmore is designed to impart to students an active command
of the language by supplementing the study of grammar with intensive
oral practice, writing, and readings in literary or expository
prose. Students who complete Russian 003B successfully are eligible
to take Russian 004B, Advanced Intensive Russian.
