This is one of the most common of the exercises forms on this site. The exercises range from a simple fill-in-the-blank to rewriting an entire sentence.
On a typical page you would be given instructions and a modèle for the exercise. The instructions for this exercise are:
Modèle: You see: I run to the store.
You write: I ran to the store.
In all the exercises, it is important that you captialize and punctuate correctly. All these exercises are case-sensitive. There are significant differences between French and English capitalization. For example, languages are capitalized in English but not in French (le français, not le Français). Spacing is also important: leave only one space between words and after any punctuation internal to the sentence. Now put the following sentence in the past. However, on the first try do not capitalize Robert and do not include the period. Then correct these errors.
