Browser Requirements

If you are working in the LRC at Swarthmore College, all these settings have been done for you.

These pages are optimized for use on Macintosh computers using Netscape Communicator 4.72 or higher. Your screen resolution should be set at no less than 800 X 600 pixels. Your browser window should be set at approximately 625 pixels. Your variable width font should be set at 12 and your fixed width font should be set at 10. You may do this by going to the Preferences menu under Edit in your browser. Then choose Fonts. For embedded sound files your browser preferences for au and aiff files should be set to Live Audio plug-in. (For instructions on changing your sound preferences, click here)
