The above image is just one sample of the Visual Resources Department's vast image collection. This department is a resource composed of both slides and digital images available for lending purposes to Swarthmore's faculty, staff, and students. Currently, our slide collections consist of more than 250,000 images spanning across Western and Non-Western art. In continually expanding the image collection, we are in the process of digitizing each image. Currently, faculty are able to teach with their desired format of either 35mm slides or digital imagery.
