This site contains statements, images, and links produced through the cooperation of over 50 professors of Islamic Studies and Middle Eastern Studies from the USA and Canada. These scholars are members of the Study of Islam section at the American Academy of
Religion (the largest international organization responsible for the academic study of religion).

The site address inter-linked issues, many of which have not received adequate coverage in the national media:
