Office Hours, Location, Contacts
The Swarthmore College Office of the Registrar is normally open Monday through Friday every week of the year, except for the following holidays: July 4, Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, and the last week and a half of the year spanning the end of December extending into early January.
For the winter break, the office is usually closed for about a week in the end of December until after January 1 of the new year.
Normal office hours:
Monday through Friday: 8:30 am - 12:00 noon, 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm (United States Eastern Time), although we are occasionally closed for blocks of time devoted to training in new technologies.
Summer office hours:
From mid-June to mid-August, we observe the following schedule: Monday through Friday: 8:00 am - 12:00 noon, 1:00 pm - 4:45 pm, except for Friday (United States Eastern Time), when we close at 12:00 noon. In 2011, summer hours began June 6, and ended August 12.
Thanksgiving Break Closure:
For the 2012 Thanksgiving break, the office will be closed November 22 and 23.
Winter Break Closure:
For the 2012-2013 winter break, the office will be closed from Monday December 24, 2012 to Tuesday January 1, 2013, inclusive. The office reopens Wednesday, January 2, 2012.
