Parrish Hall Renovation Project
Project Notices
- Procedure for Construction Complaints and Questions.
- Article about the Parrish Renovation from the Swarthmore College Bulletin
- The Tri-College shuttle will no longer pick up and drop off at the Parrish rose garden circle. The Tri-College shuttle service to and from Bryn Mawr, Haverford and Swarthmore will pick up and drop off in the Bond parking lot for the duration of the Parrish construction project.
Moves
- The Parlors will be used as the construction office for the duration of the project. The Parlors are closed to the College community until September 2005.
- The ATM machine is connected and available for use in the Kohlberg Lounge, in the alcove to the right of the fireplace.
Construction
- The center stairs to lower level bathrooms are closed. Please direct visitors to the first floor bathrooms in Kohlberg.
- Construction fence has been placed around the rear side of Parrish. Some entrances and stairs will be unavailable to the campus community. See the site plan to understand how to get in and out of the building.
- All construction traffic will enter the site from College Ave. The pedestrian path to the east (rose garden side) of Parrish will be used for truck access to the site. Most of the time pedestrians will be able to pass on the rose garden side, but there will be temporary blockages for truck access. Note that the west (Clothier) pathway will not have truck traffic and will continue to be open for pedestrians.
- Skanska, the construction management team for the Parrish project, has their offices in Parrish Parlors. A temporary partition has been built in the center corridor.
