There is a typing program available on the college server. 
Here is how you can get to it...
Go to any Public Area Macintosh computer.
Go to the apple menu (the little rainbow apple in the upper lefthand corner of the screen) and select Chooser.
Click on three things in the Choose: 
1. the Apple Share icon (in the upper lefthand box) 
2. the SC Servers text (in the lower lefthand box)
3. the Data and Software text (in the upper righthand box) 
Under the Data and Software scroll bar, select Software.
Open the software icon on the desktop and look for Mavis Beacon. You will either find the Mavis Beacon installer, or the program itself. You can install Mavis Beacon on the computer that you're using (this is recommended), or just run the program from the server.
