SUMMER OF LEARNING!!!!!

Summer of Learning is an opportunity for Swarthmore student and staff members to continue learning new things throughout the summer! The Learning For Life program has officially ended and will start up again next fall but we want to do fun stuff this summer, too!

Summer of Learning will consist of a series of discussion groups, kind of like small workshops, that will meet twice a week in Parrish Commons, on the 2nd floor of Parrish. Discussion topics will be selected by the group.

Summer of Learning weekly meetings will begin mid-June, run through August, and all are optional--stop by as many or few times as you would like! We will meet in one group to talk about issues of interest, learn new things, read, write, discuss books, discuss movies, share stories, tell jokes, anything and everything that people are interested in doing.

Summer of Learning will have a new topic and for each meeting, with one or two people co- leading discussions along with Susie and Pat. Those people will meet with us before the sessions to organize the meetings and plan the discussion. Below is a tentative list of some of the things we were thinking about in for discussion groups...Please fill in the information at the bottom of this sheet and return it to your supervisor.

Summer of Learning is all of us building friendships and community. We hope to see you this summer! We can't wait to get started! As soon as we have a list of staff members and students who would like to participate, we will send out more detailed information. See you this summer!
