Successful Applicants are - emerging leaders from North
Carolina who have at least 3 but not more than 15 years
of work experience.
They receive - $15,000 worth of professional development,
money for travel expenses, access to a pool of $50,000
for collaborative projects.
How many: 25 every 2 years.
What do they do: Attend a series of weekend seminars.
How long: 2 years.
Program goals: To develop a community of leaders in
North Carolina who can work together to address the
challenges of the 21st century.
Deadline: Spring 1999. A group of 100 North Carolina
citizens nominate candidates.
