The Fulbright Academic Exchange Program
Successful Applicants are - U.S. citizens with college degrees and an
academically feasible, imaginative, noteworthy and doable project.
They receive - One year of graduate study at an academic institution outside the
U.S., round trip transportation to the host country, and a monthly living
stipend which varies from country to country, medical insurance.
How many: 900 fellowship each year.
What do they do: Attend graduate school outside the United States.
How long: 1 year.
Program goals: To increase the mutual understanding between the people of the
United States and the people of other countries.
Deadline: October 23.
