Echoing Green Public Service Fellowship

Successful Applicants are - social entrepreneurs who have 
participated in or graduated from an Echoing Green Participating
Institution within the last ten years and who possess the energy, 
commitment, and talent to formulate and implement innovative public 
service programs within an existing nonprofit. (A list of 
participating institutions is available at the Echoing Green web site.)
They receive - $20,000 - $30,000 seed capital, conferences with 
other change-makers, technical support 
How many: About 40 new fellows each year. 
What do they do: Fellows work full-time on their projects. 
How long: 2 years 
Program goals: To invest in young people's ideas and potential,
in the hope of creating a community of public service leaders
whose work, over time, will have a real impact on our society. 
Deadline: Contact the Coordinator at applicant's institution. 
The Fellowships commences on either June 1 or September 1, at 
each Fellow's discretion. 
Sponsoring organization: Echoing Green, a private foundation that 
applies a venture capital approach to philanthropy.
