Donald Terner Residency Program

Successful Applicants are - college graduates who
through previous jobs and/or volunteer work have
proven themselves to be resourceful, persevering
and committed to community development. 
They receive - Full-time work at the BRIDGE Housing
Corp,exposure to the process of mixed income and
affordable housing development, and $30,000 a year
plus benefits. 
How many: 1 resident every two years, beginning
in 1998. 
What do they do: Work in the BRIDGE office completing
special assignment which are designed to expand the
BRIDGE's vision. 
How long: 2 years. 
Program goals: To inspire a new generation of social
entrepreneurs to follow in the footsteps of the late
Don Terner, who was an innovator in the field of
affordable housing. 
Deadline: June 30, 1998; June 2000.
