Sumit Ganguly

Dr. Ganguly is a professor of Asian Studies and Government at the University of Texas at Austin. He has published many books and articles about the history and current situation of the India-Pakistan Conflict, the most recent being Conflict Unending: India-Pakistan Tensions Since 1947 and The Crisis in Kashmir: Portents of War, Hopes of Peace. Dr. Ganguly is a historian specializing in defense policy and ethnic conflict in South Asia. He has served on many editorial boards, committees, consulting groups, boards of directors, and is a well-known figure in the field.
