< DPI meets with faculty sponsors | Archives Index | DPI meets with Noam Chomsky > 05/09/03 - DPI Faculty Meeting DPI held a meeting with its faculty sponsors on Tuesday, May 6. All committee members were present and presentations that covered all aspects of the conferece were delivered. The committe was disappointed at the few number of faculty present; we would like to thank Maurice Eldridge for his continued support and his willingness to devote his time. Some important points that were made follow: We would like to provide a very flexible conference structure so that the participants have time to reflect on the lectures and engage in dialogue. We are thinking of having two panels on Saturday, and one on Sunday, with workshops following each one. The restaurant that was going to cater for us has turned out to be too expensive, so we'll look for a new one.
